In this year’s edition of the European Championship in handball for men, Denmark was not given many chances  to win after losing important games in the beginning. But with a great fight Denmark managed to turn a bad starting point into victory, and yesterday, Sunday the 29th of January, they could call themselves the winners.

Denmark met Serbia in the final, and won 21-19 after a tight game. More than 2,65 million Danes watched the handball team win, which is the highest viewer number for sport in Denmark since 2004.
With this victory Denmark have qualified for the Olympics 2012, we wish them all the best and hope for more great games.
