The Danish Film Festival 2006 was a successful and great event for DACC. With a mixture of funny, serious and exciting movies for both adults and children the theatre at the High Museum in Atlanta was filled up with spectators every night. After the movies a lot of people took advantage of the possibility to stay and talk in the nice surroundings of the Four Seasons Hotel.
DACC is deeply thankful to everyone who has helped to make this festival possible.
The VIP Dinner was one of the highlights of the Danish Film Festival. The dinner which was limited to only 40 people was the fastest ever sold out event in DACC history. In less than 3 hours the seats were all booked. The event turned out to be extremely successful. With attendance of all the sponsors, dignitaries from the Danish Embassy in Washington, Søren Pilmark and Rasmus Heisterberg and representatives from the High Museum the stage was set to an interesting and eventful afternoon and evening.
After one hour of drinks and mingling the party was welcomed by Gitte Hagensen and the 3 course dinner was commenced. During the dinner several awards were given out to people specially involved in the creation of the festival.
Delta surprised everyone by spontaneously drawing lots for a pair of tickets to the new opening line Atlanta-Copenhagen which will commence May 1st.
