Denmark will be reprented by Honorary Consul
of the Kingdom of Denmark Christopher Smith,
who will take part in the Cherry Blossom Parade
sunday March 20th at 3 PM

The parade will also feature colorful floats, military units, marching bands, costumed performers,
other international dignitaries and much more. The parade is televised at the local tv-station 41-NBC.
The festival iself runs from March 18th until the 27th and have a extensive program that features
everything from golf tournaments over dog shows to a youth ballet performance. So bring your family
down, wave your flag as the parade goes by and enjoy a day in Macon as the city becomes a pink
cotton-spun paradise of delight as over 300,000 Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory.
