Dear DACC Members,

Hopefully you are all enjoying the summer and the warm temperatures. The first half of 2017 ended with a well-attended and successful Sankt Hans that drew quite a few guests new to DACC.  This year’s midsummer event was held in a new setting, but it still featured a good ‘hyggelig’ atmosphere that marked a milestone as DACC moves forward with a host of new programs.
At the DACC board, we are very excited about the second half of 2017 and have already begun new initiatives designed to increase our membership and raise our visibility in the community. We started the new season with an informal networking at Red Hare Brewery and a teenager-get together that was promoted on our website and Facebook.  We have a lot more coming, including a business event in September, a celebration of DACC’s 20-year anniversary in November, and, of course, our legendary Christmas events. Please join us – the more the merrier!
Our main goal is to serve you, our members, with a balance of cultural and business events that celebrate our Danish traditions while providing business related speakers and events that have wide appeal beyond the Danish community.  We recognize that networking is a vital activity for businesses, sponsors, and individuals – including entire family members.
With the intent of increasing participation, we have updated the DACC Membership Fee Schedule. The biggest changes are that the membership fee for businesses has decreased significantly and a modest individual membership fee has been implemented.

This individual membership fee can be credited towards your participation in a fee-based event of your choice. There will be an event fee difference for members and non-members.
Our new membership and event fee structure has been aligned more closely with other Atlanta area chambers of commerce and will enable DACC to more fully participate with other chambers in jointly sponsored events.  More involvement with other chambers will give DACC members the benefits of a broader network.  With this enlarged chamber community, DACC members will received invitations to events with our other chamber partners.

We are confident that our new structure will engage more Danish and American companies within the community and attract more guest to our events.  Dacc exists for you and the more people who participates the more beneficial the events will be for everyone.

We hope you will continue to support DACC as we embark on new commercial and social activities. To become a member click here
