June 24, Invitation to Sankt Hans Midsummer BBQ 4-7pm

With friends and family we will celebrate the traditional Danish Holiday Event, Sommer Solstice, at beautiful Azalea Park located in Roswell. Surrounded by mother nature, we will bbq, sing, and meet. There will further be fun games for the kids. 
We will provide burgers, hotdogs, and “snobrød”. There are lots of picnic tables and chairs available. Drinks and cups are bring your own (BYO). Unfortunately we are not allowed to have a bonfire, but this only means that we will sing the midsummer song louder and celebrate more! No alcoholic beverages and glass container are allowed in the park.
To those who wants more after the official event is over, we are considering the option of heading to a bar in Roswell – area afterwards.

Depending on availability, you are welcome to pay at the venue for a surcharge of $10 per person. Last year we nearly sold out with 110 participants, so we strongly suggest you pay in advance online.
We are looking for members or non-members to sponsor or donate one or more of the following items. You can buy and/or make the items yourself and bring them ready to serve, or you can make a donation and we can even do it for you. Sponsor names will be prominently displayed!

$20 – Knife, forks, spoons, and bbq equipment

$10 – Table cloth (plastic/paper) $15 – Charcoal and water for grills
$10 – Cleaning Supplies and trash bags

To make this event as amazing as previous years, we are in need of volunteers. Any help is truly appreciated, so please help spread the word!
