Friday evening August 11 DACC had its first teenage startup event for middle and high schoolers. We started out with dinner,a little from both cultures: Burgers (US), homemade (DK) and some s'mores. After dinner a game of ‘rundbold’ was played, and a couple of dads took the boys swimming while the young ladies preferred to exercise the art of conversating. DACC would very much like to offer something fun for our middle - and high schoolers, so if you belong to this group, please join us for a barbeque night. Besides from listen to your ideas, the evening is pretty open; "Hygge" for sure - games? sports? maybe Swimming ? better bring your swimsuit just to be on the safe side.

DACC's Sct Hans Celebration took place in Azalea park in Roswell, in a pavilion alongside the Chattahoochee River. Ida and Stine our social committee chair kicked of the festivities by welcoming guests to the event. A delicious BBQ with hamburgers, danish hotdog and all the Danish condiments you can think of was enjoyed by all.

With friends and family we will celebrate the traditional Danish Holiday Event, Sommer Solstice, at beautiful Azalea Park located in Roswell. Surrounded by mother nature, we will bbq, sing, and meet. There will further be fun games for the kids.

We will provide burgers, hotdogs, and "snobrød". There are lots of picnic tables and chairs available. Drinks and cups are bring your own (BYO). Unfortunately we are not
