'Boller i Karry' is a popular everyday meal in Denmark. You eat it on top of rice, and if you make a big serving, it tastes even better the day after.
Boller i Karry

Meatballs
1 pound minced pork
1 big onion, grated or nicely cut
1 egg
½ cup of water
4 tablespoons of oat grain
Salt, pepper
All the ingredients are mixed together, and then formed into small meatballs.
Get a lot of water boiling in a big pot, add salt and the meatballs, and let them boil for around 15-30 minuttes. When they are done, keep 3 cups of the boiling water for the sauce.
Curry sauce
1 big onion, nicely cut
1 big tablespoon of butter
1-2 apples, grated or cut
6 teaspoons of curry
3,5 tablespoons of flour
3 cups of the boiling water from the meatballs
The onion are fried mildly in the butter without taking any colour. Add the apples and the curry, and let it fry for a while. Sprinkle the flour and stir untill it has been absorbed. Add the water little by little under constant whipping, and let it boil for 5 minuttes while still whipping. Add the meat balls, and cook until well heated. Serve with rice. Bon appetite!
