The Danish language, like English, is largely based on Latin.

There are 29 letters in the Danish alphabet Danish (Dansk) is one of the North Germanic languages.

The language is also used by the 50,000 Danes in the northern part of Germany, where it holds

the status of a minority language.

 

If you want to pronounce a Danish word that is hard try saying..... "speciallægepraksisplanlægningsstabiliseringsperiode"

and yes that is an actual word!
