Website Launch
DACC will shortly be launching the brand new and updated website for our
members and associates to enjoy. We are working around the clock to get
the new website and newsletter design ready, please be on the lookout
for updates on this.
DACC Welcomes New Treasurer & Assistant Director
Mette Lynch from the Trade Commission
of Denmark has stepped on board as DACC's new Treasurer taking over for
Lotte Hansen. We want to thank Lotte for all her hard work in the past
and welcome Mette to our organization.
In
addition to our new Treasurer, we would like to introduce our new
Assistant Director, Andreas Hansen. Andreas has taken the newly
established part time position as Assistant Director, and he will be
managing the DACC office on a day-to-day basis. Andreas has a background
as DACC Intern, and he has been on the DACC Board of Directors since
January 2007.

European Social Mixer on May 8
Join the Young Executives Committee for a unique networking opportunity,
the YEC European Social Mixer on Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 7PM -
10PM. The event will celebrate the European Day which marks the
foundation of the European Union of May 9, 1950. Participation price is
only $5 for DACC members. To

Cheese & Wine-Art & Music on May 30
Please
save the date for a fabulous evening of good wines and cheeses with live
music and art. Danish born country singer,
Connie Kis Andersen, will be performing acoustically and art
will be be displayed by local artist. This is an event you don't want to
miss out on! We will keep you updated on this as the date approaches.
St.
Hans on June 21 - Save The Date!
Mark your calendar on June 21, 2008
as the annual St. Hans Party will take place at the Hagensen's house in
Sandy Springs. Bring the whole family out for St. Hans - like last year,
there will be a delicious barbeque provided by Vagn Nielsen and Proof of
the Pudding, as well as fun and games for the children. DACC will
provide soft drinks and water, however, please bring your own beer and
wine.
