Saturday night April 15
was a beautiful spring evening in Atlanta. It was the evening
where the Danish-American community came together to celebrate the
Chamber's 10th Anniversary. From beginning to end the Gala and Casino
night was filled with happy
people who all knew how to party the night away.
The evening started at 6 PM, where 110 people showed up to enjoy
a most delicious dinner catered by Vagn Nielsen from 'Proof of the
Pudding'.
After the dinner two showgirls from EXHAUSTO, Cindy and Nancy, handed
out chips to everyone. Time flew while people gambled at the
tables. People tried their luck with Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and
Texas Hold'Em Poker. The gamblers could then exchange raffle tickets with
the chips they had won at the tables. One of the raffle tickets were
chosen by lot to be the winner ticket. Camilla Nielsen from DFDS was
the lucky winner of a trip to Las Vegas sponsored by Coloplast and
Delta Airlines.

Silent Auction
An impressive number of companies and
individuals contributed to the DACC 10th Anniversary by donating items
for the Silent Auction. Lots of great auction items were lined up at
the tables. The donators were all very creative in finding good
donations. Cakes, jewelry, paintings, model houses, sports items and
cheerful soldiers were some of the things people came up with for the
Silent Auction.
