DACC’S Christmas Luncheon was a very merry affair
Santa hats, glittery dresses, and empty stomachs craving Danish foods were all in place when the bells rang
in for DACC’s Christmas Luncheon on December 2, 2018. The joyful happening took place at a dazzling
clubhouse in the midst of majestic trees and greens in Marietta.
The graceful roundtables were elegantly set with Danish design, exciting gift bags from Bo Concept,
and shimmery centerpieces. The prizes for the risalamande were also on display in
shape of the cutest, succulent marzipan pigs waiting to be consumed.
The feast consisted of multiple courses of Danish fish and a delicious buffet showcasing
flæskesteg, leverpostej, frikadeller, and tons of other Danish Christmas delicacies. As a break before
the sweet, sweet risalamande, the raffle took off and the happy winners could stuff their bags with impressive prizes.
The festivities ended with networking, laughter, and a few put their dancing shoes to the test.
The weather even permitted a group of satisfied guests to hang on the gorgeous porch.
DACC was thrilled to receive the overwhelming amount of compliments from the participants and is
already excited about next year’s celebratory Christmas affair.
This event would not be possible without the hard work of our Social event Coordinator Ida Kroell and her many volunteers and sponsors. THANK YOU so much to each and everyone for making this another great Christmas Party.
