It all started with a car, The Mainlines: Tina Presley, Rabbitt Lambert, Tom Mikle, Claus Staalner, Steve Krask, Steve Brown, and Steve Huys got their name from an antique car, a Mainline.
When asked how they formed their band Steve Huys responded: "We took our time. We all have been playing or singing for 25 years plus and have been in countless bands. Some of us have toured some have recorded, but the three Steve’s all decided about mid 2009 that we wanted to put something together that would last, so we started looking for people who we would be friends with first and sought out like minded individuals who were all looking to grow musically and challenge themselves. Almost everybody plays two to three different instruments and/or is learning a new one. It just happened that everybody lives within a mile or two of each other. It’s a fun experience.
